I’m a strong believer in building your outfit around a particular piece of clothing. Whether it be some cool pants, a structured top, or a funky pair of shoes – I personally believe it’s the least overwhelming formula when putting together an #ootd. As you probably already know, I tend to lean toward very basic clothing, so centering an outfit around a cool bag or some interesting heels is a great way to add some visual interest without requiring much thought. And what better way to find a pair of interesting heels than an online shop dedicated to them? After someone from the SHOEme.ca team reached out to me, I legit spent hours pouring through their products. They literally have something for everyone – whether you’re a guy, kiddie, outdoorsy, or a regular ol’ 20 something shoe fiend looking for luxe labels like Calvin Klein or Louise et Cie. I eventually ended up picking out these calf hair mules and love how the cut & texture add a lil’ sum’ sum’ to what would otherwise be a plain ensemble.
