For as long as I can remember, I’ve been obsessed with magazines. Food, travel, interior design, health, not to mention (of course!) fashion. One of the first fashion publications I ever got into was Elle Girl, until I eventually graduated to the real deal (and subsequently decided I wanted to work at a magazine someday). In my final year of university, I applied to intern at Elle Canada. I made it to the final cut of would-be interns, but didn’t end up bagging one of the 4 coveted editorial internships. I was super bummed, but as time went on I realized that everything happens for a reason – and that some things come full circle.
Flash forward 2 years and I get the chance to collaborate with Elle US on a digital campaign for their line of products, Elle Boutique. The theme: French Riviera, of course! The line features handbags, jewelry, eyewear and more. I styled my bag and watch (just a couple of the many products they have available on the site) in the most French way I could – with a black blazer and a neck scarf. Et voilà! Make sure to check out the line on www.elleboutique.ca.They are also on Instagram @boutiqueelle!
