I don’t shy away from many articles of clothing (except brightly coloured ones, of course). But up until very recently, over-the-knee boots were one of the few things I can admit to being intimidated of wearing. I’m not even sure why – maybe because I was scared to look like cat woman? Or an…err…woman of the night? I don’t know. It doesn’t really make sense because I’ll rock a v-neck bodysuit cut down to my belly button or booty shorts no problem, yet I’m scared of a pair of boots that COVER leg? It doesn’t even make sense. Either way, I’m happy I decided to try something new because I’m totally into them. Paired with a simple mini-skirt and turtleneck like I’m wearing above, or with a super-oversized boxy pullover (which I’m dying to try), they’re one of those pieces that take an outfit from meh to woah.
